The autonomous heating systems were first introduced in the Greek market in 1972 at the same time as the introduction of the single-pipe heating system. By the end of the '70s, there were a plethora of systems from various companies, all of them were imported and at a high cost.

The company BEV - STERIOTIS Bros. founded in 1976 in Athens, coming from the field of electromechanical installations, having in its assets large public and private projects, is the first company in Greece and in the wider Southeastern Europe, which designed and produced the first Greek motorized ball electric valve actuator in 1983.

Over the last 38 years, the company has presented a remarkable range of products in the field of autonomy, having designed, produced, and marketed some of the most reliable models in the market, such as BEV, CBV, SUN, EURO. Also has developed partnerships with the biggest names in the heating sector, it designs and manufactures for its exclusive partners, OEM products such as COMAP, TIEMME, TEMPA, PERFECT, CARRIER, RAM, SIRIO, KLM, RON, NOVA, BRUNATI, HERHOLDT, ECOFER, BAUPA, and others. In recent years, it has also developed the manufacture of electronic and digital autonomy systems (thermostats and central control units), electronic heat meters under the BEV brand, and the best electric spit rotation motor on the market (BBQ).

Also, since the end of 2009, the company has been expanding its activities by launching new partnerships, redefining its position in the industry. It exclusively represents in Greece the multinational company Hidria IMP Klima with wall radiators, fan coils, and floor heating-cooling convector radiators.
